High-cadence paddlers find the Spindrift Fiberglass’ light weight exactly right for “getting there” faster. This paddle’s blades are hand-crafted of multi-laminate fiberglass and use Aqua-Bound’s proprietary resin and foam-core compression molding. Like all of Aqua-Bound’s performance kayak paddles, the Spindrift’s shaft is 100% T-700 aerospace-grade carbon. This combination creates a paddle that’s strong but super-light with a low swing weight.
The Spindrift Fiberglass has two ferrule options. In addition to a snug 3-hole snap-button ferrule (adjustable for feathering angles 0° and 60°, L or R), this paddle also offers a telescoping ferrule with infinite feathering angles. If you have multiple boats (or if you can’t keep your Spindrift Fiberglass out of other paddlers’ hands), the telescoping ferrule makes changing paddle length a breeze.
The Spindrift Fiberglass with a snap-button ferrule comes in lengths ranging from 210cm to 240cm, in 10 cm increments. With the telescoping ferrule, the Spindrift Fiberglass is available in two adjustable lengths of 215-230cm and 225-240cm.
